The purpose of the HORTON Scholarship Program is to assist deserving students willing to enroll in a Machine Tool Technology related curricula at a public, regionally accredited community or technical college (or equivalent training to pursue a machining career). 

 

Horton, Inc. hopes that the program will interest students in careers in the machine tool industry and will demonstrate the interest of Horton in local academic institutions. 

 

Each scholarship provides for tuition, books and related academic fees, as determined appropriate by Horton, in an amount up to $3,500, for a full-time student for one academic year. Student selection will be in compliance with all applicable EEO/AA requirements and guidelines.  Students may apply for and be accepted for a scholarship in more than one academic year.
