Transforming from a Jayceettes group, the Women of Wessington was an organization that was started over thirty years ago in Wessington, SD. The intent of the organization was to create a sense of community by doing fundraising activities to promote Wessington, such as an annual Christmas Fair and our 4-wheeler Poker Run, and to assist with our community’s financial needs.  The Miller community has always offered tremendous support to all of the fundraisers. For this reason, we, the Women of Wessington, would like to reward a female Miller High School senior who has a 3.0 or higher GPA with a $100.00 scholarship based on scholastic aptitude and, most importantly, community service/involvement.
