<div><b>Description:</b> To be eligible for a James H. Jenssen Scholarship, you must meet all of the following criteria&#58;
• Be a resident of the State of South Dakota and a high school senior OR
• Be a resident of the State of South Dakota enrolled in an engineering program at South Dakota School of
Mines or South Dakota State University for the upcoming academic year
• Be a United States Citizen
• Have a parent, grandparent, sibling, uncle, aunt or cousin employed a minimum of 3 years (or retired)
with the South Dakota Department of Transportation.
• Have a current High School GPA of 3.0 (based on a 4.0 grading system) or higher OR a minimum of a 3.0
GPA at School of Mines or South Dakota State University if currently attending the university.
• Demonstrate the ability to become an asset to the engineering field. The student's personal aims and
goals should be consistent with this requirement.
• For legal reasons, applicant must not be a relative of James H. Jenssen.
Scholarship Value&#58; $500.00. Four scholarships will be awarded in the Fall.</div>

WP Beverages is proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of high school seniors and college undergraduates through the annual WP Beverages – Pepsi Scholarship Fund.

The purpose of the scholarship is to reward community scholars, dependents of employees, and part-time employees who look to further their education and are passionate about creating a better future through school and community involvement, leadership, and citizenship.

Ten individuals throughout the communities WP Beverages serves will be selected by Scholarship America to receive a $1,000 one-time scholarship award.

As part of our commitment to education, five graduating seniors or college undergraduates who are either a dependent of a WP Beverages employee or are a part-time or seasonal employee of WP Beverages will also be eligible to receive a $1,000 one-time scholarship.
